This is the third wedding I have photographed for this sweet (extended) family and they are near and dear to my heart. The first two weddings were during the pandemic and Emmie & Brad’s wedding was held the weekend after Hurricane Helene. So at this point, I think we can get through anything together and still experience so much joy!
Emmie has been coming to High Hampton since she was a baby, so it was her dream to get married at this special place that holds so many memories. It all started with Emmie’s “Gam” building the mountain house in Cashiers, North Carolina. They told me that sometimes there would be 25 family members staying together all at one time, and always the more the merrier! I think it was Gam's way of creating their very close knit family.
When Brad proposed to Emmie, she knew this special place had to be part of their story. Their wedding was all about authenticity, deep-rooted connections and meaningful relationships. I loved every minute.
You can see their engagement session here.
