I’m so happy to finally share this fall portrait session! This was my third shoot with Nikki and she shared with me her adoption story that brought her to the U.S. when she was young and how her horse Rocky has been with her through so much, including her move to Franklin, away from her family in Long Island, New York. After our session, Nikki dropped a gift and heartfelt note off on my porch. Her words reminded me again that my job is so much more than just about the perfect portrait. It’s about listening to people, making them feel important and beautiful and telling their story in a way so that you can feel a connection to what and who matters most to them.
