The Norwegian way to jump into a wedding weekend...a cold-water swim in Lake Louise on a 45-degree morning. I was bundled up in a cashmere sweater, down jacket, and needed hand warmers, while everyone else dove right into the water like it was a warm summer day. It definitely made for a fun and memorable start to the weekend!
Later that evening, E+A welcomed guests with a cozy rehearsal dinner at a private farm in the mountains of North Carolina, surrounded by the beauty of the changing season. Thoughtful details made the evening especially personal, including floral centerpieces arranged in silver bud vases, containers, and collected trinkets gathered by the mother of the bride on her travels around the world.
The bride's family is Austrian-American and the groom's family is Norwegian, and some of the family and guests traveled across the globe and were meeting for the first time. E + A were very intentional about creating events and moments for meaningful connection. With the mountains as their backdrop, a refined rustic aesthetic and the florals in the colors of autumn, it was the perfect setting for this multi-day fall wedding celebration weekend.
