I had the privilege and pleasure of spending the weekend documenting all of the fun events celebrating Ellie & Matt. From their couple portraits before the rehearsal and Bridesmaids Luncheon at her family’s Alys Beach home, to the Welcome Party at The Citizen Alys and the much-anticipated wedding day, it was pure joy and adoration. We were even blessed with sunny skies and warm weather for their February nuptials, when just a few weeks earlier there was snow on the beach (cue the Taylor swift song).

 Ellie wore a classic Kelly Faetanini lace dress with thin waist bow and a long sleeved bolero, which she removed for cocktail hour and the party to reveal a strapless neckline for the party. Matt wore a classic white dinner jacket, black tuxedo pants and black slippers, perfect for the pristine white setting in Alys Beach. Ellie’s bridesmaids wore garden flora jacquard dresses by Lula Kate in spring green.

The couple chose not to have a first look and it was so sweet to see Matt’s tears as Ellie walked down the aisle with her father at Rosemary Town Hall. More favorite memories of the day were watching Matt’s many nieces and nephews, who were an absolute delight, enjoying their important roles as flower girls and ring bearers.

as they arrived at Alys Beach Central Green, guests were wow’d with the amazing floral displays by Myrtie Blue and were treated to delicious cocktails and bites with a raw oyster bar, sushi display, and bananas foster bar by Townsend Catering. Later in the evening the guys gathered around the cigar bar for a smoke.

It was an stunning and unforgettable day!
